Training Advisor – Competitive Salary

General Description 
To deliver a professional training service providing creative and business-focused solutions and recommendations. To build and develop relationships with all employees to provide support and guidance on a range of training and HR matters and share best practice. You must be passionate about helping people to learn and grow and deliver world-class training. 

Main Duties, 
Operational Tasks and Responsibilities 

To support with training for the service engineers and apprentices  
To have commercial discussions with customers regarding the business training  
To represent the UK in global training meetings and build strong business relationships with them 
To manage the apprentices and their development 
To build effective working relationships with staff at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of training and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good practice 
To ensure all data on manual and computerised records are accurate and up to date and provide accurate and timely reports as and when required 
To write and present information briefings on a range of Training and HR related topics  
To research and recommend new initiatives as required 

Requirements of the Job 
Proven experience as a Training Advisor or similar 
Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods 
Familiarity with e-learning and practices 
Generalist HR experience is desirable 
Excellent communication skills 
Ability to build rapport with employees and customers 
Willing to travel as part of the role. 
CIPD Level 3 qualified or above, with a potential interest in further study 
Ability to see the potential in others and understand the impact of their actions on colleagues 
A high level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others and is consistent, open and honest and maintains confidentiality at all times. 
Proficient in MS Office.
