Senior Product & Concept Developer



You will be responsible for assisting the Head of Product Development in the day-to-day operational management of the guest designer and jewellery making kit team to ensure that shows are filled with content that achieves sales targets. This is an extremely fast paced role with daily last-minute changes that will require you to think on your feet. It is therefore essential that you have excellent organisation and time management skills.

  • Assist the Head of Product Development in the day-to-day management of the product development team, managing two show planners, three full-time designers and approximately twenty freelance designers.
  • Possess a strong understanding of sales, with the ability to identify the cause of strong and poor performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities to team members, overseeing the planning of guest designer activity, with the confidence that the content that the team have scheduled will achieve or exceed sales targets and meet the customers needs.
  • Plan the show rota, ensuring best use of designer talent that support the theme and project of the show to exceed sales targets. Process any changes and ensure that they are communicated across the business.
  • Ensure that all relevant administrative duties are completed and communicated, according to company procedure.
  • Report on individual performance of the team and highlight training requirements. Carry out performance reviews, with the support from management.
  • Regularly feed back on performance to motivate the team to continuously improve.
  • Work collaboratively with buying, merchandising, marketing, designers, producers and presenters to support on information required for a successful launch.
