Are you a skilled Project Engineer seeking a new opportunity? Redwood Search is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established metal fabrication company located in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.

Role Description: Project Engineer 

Redwood Search, on behalf of our client, is currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects forward, ensuring their success through planning, technical expertise, coordination, quality control, and problem-solving. 


Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans encompassing timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments across various projects, including IT infrastructure, new machinery installations, workflow enhancements, and maintenance contracts.

Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical support to both internal colleagues and external customers. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring project success.

Coordination: Collaborate with diverse teams, including design, manufacturing, and maintenance, to ensure project milestones are met within set objectives and timelines.

Quality Control: Uphold stringent quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, guaranteeing high-quality project deliverables. 

Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive project documentation, encompassing progress reports, technical specifications, and other essential project records.

Communication: Foster clear and effective communication channels both internally and externally, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues, customers, and contractors.

Problem-solving: Identify and resolve technical challenges and issues that arise during project execution, proactively finding effective solutions. 


Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in project management and engineering roles.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with IT infrastructure, machinery installations, and process improvement methodologies.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
