Procurement Manager – up to £35k.
Our clients are a recognised business within their field. They are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and will be able to develop and nurture excellent relationships with their suppliers. To be successful in this role, you will have good interpersonal skills, be organised and a planner.
Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet customer order requirements and maintain stock inventory levels within approved guidelines.
Purchasing material for inventory via the purchase requisition worksheet
Reviewing Purchase orders and emailing to vendors
Confirm expected ship dates and updating system.
Resolving errors on purchase orders and invoices as required.
Investigating and determining what/how/ why material came in incorrectly or damaged (for non-conformances).
Assisting with counts and stock takes.
Reviewing reports for stock outs and expediting open orders.
Monitoring price increases and communicating changes as necessary.
Reviewing line order points for inventory stock levels.
Maintaining, building and measuring relationships with suppliers.
Accountable for meeting all targets, deadlines and KPI’s as agreed with Line Manager / Customer
