The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and leading the execution of marketing campaigns across the whole business. This position is responsible for owning the e-Commerce marketing calendar, managing the creative asset process, and taking the lead in collaborating with country managers, advertising and communication teams to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns.

Principle job accountabilities

  • Advise and consult with Brand and the digital Manager on how to effectively use digital marketing channels to accomplish business objectives through the use of analytic, research, metric-based insights, and industry best practices.
  • Unify recommendations and implementation plans into a cohesive brief that internal and/or external creative resources can execute against.
  • Optimise and then leverage our existing video assets across digital platforms.
  • Manage communication with all stakeholders during the development and execution of campaigns.
  • Work in partnership with Advertising, Brand and PR, and other functions to deploy highly effective e-Commerce campaigns.
  • Ensure all campaigns are localized to the relevant audience, delivered on time, in budget and support revenue and business goals.
  • Plan and execute methodical tests to measure the incremental value of our efforts, as well as on going optimisation efforts to meet campaign efficiency/ROI targets.
  • Proactively forecast and report successes, inconsistencies, and underperformance of e-Commerce.
  • campaigns, and leverage the data collected to ensure future campaigns are changed.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of the companies’ market and competitive environment to ensure the business maintains and grows market share in its key and developing markets.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop campaign themes and concepts on overall frameworks that provides a tool kit of elements including digital, email and social media.
  • Provide feedback and data analytics to support and enhance market strategy and direction.
  • Evaluate and recommend new digital marketing opportunities and technologies Manage operational bottlenecks and provide escalation management when required.

Experience 

  • 5+ years’ experience executing marketing initiatives in the digital space – This should include, display, email, app, mobile, push notifications/SMS, social media.
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing for an e-Commerce brand preferably in Europe
  • Advanced understanding of web analytics tools, CRM CMS and Customer Lifecycle
  • A proven track record of managing multiple successful campaigns across regions and languages with a high ROI.
  • Experience developing robust A/B and MVT testing programs to optimize marketing campaigns, and analytical reporting.
  • Experience managing internal and external teams, partners and agencies throughout the development and production of digital marketing campaigns.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Ability to interact and present your ideas to various levels of an organization to explain and gain support for initiatives.
  • Flexible, creative, and a self-starter who will roll up their sleeves and get the job done in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage a huge variety of campaigns and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong consumer understanding skills across all cultures and an ability to translate customer insights into successful marketing programs.
  • A high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an outstanding team player
