Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their great team in Worcester, this is a really exciting time to join a rapidly expanding company

The key duty of the Finance Assistant role is to helps handle the company’s day-to-day financial matters. This includes organising accounting documents, dealing with expenses and administering petty cash.
The Role:
- Sales ledger and reporting: Allocation and posting of customer receipts, preparation of end of month reports and sale figures.
- Credit control: review of overdue accounts, placing accounts on hold and provide reports to Sales Managers
- Key finance contact for customers and support to Customer Care team for queries
- Purchase ledger: Matching invoices to orders, delivery notes and processing invoices
- Expenses: Review expense claims and corporate card statements
- VAT: Obtaining back up quarterly VAT return and support to Finance Manager in preparation of VAT return

- Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail

- Good bookkeeping skills
