Our client is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to work within their contracts department and will be responsible for managing a small team.
You will be primarily developing new and existing relationships within the MOD. You will have the full support from their established contracts team with the tendering and bid process. In order to be successful in the BDM role, you will need to have a solid understanding of selling into the MOD/defence and will be excellent at forming relationships with senior decision makers. This role is suited to someone who enjoys the hunt of new business, winning contracts and nurturing your existing clients.
- Strategic account management and business development within the Military of Defence.
- Maintaining and retaining key relationships
- Working collaboratively with the marketing and contracts team
- Managing and motivating a small to promote key client relationships
