Our client based in Burton upon Trent is looking for an Addictions Therapist to join their passionate team. The main duty of this role is to enable service users to self-develop in their awareness and understanding of addiction and themselves to become a fully functioning individual

The Role:
- Deliver psychological interventions and therapeutic theoretical evidence based interventions to clinical practice.
- Complete individual care planning processes with service users and aid to identify needs and circumstances
- Review care plans and produce a written review report
- Facilitate users in both group and individual therapy/counselling
- Participate in the on-going development of the therapeutic programme and implement the changes
- Take shared responsibility for the smooth running of the therapeutic programme and use own initiative when necessary

- Good at decision making
Qualifications/ Experience:
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
- Diploma in therapeutic counselling or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year working within a similar type of role
