The Role

To support the Account Manager in day-to-day account management ensuring a profitable and sustainable business growth.

  • Assist the Account Manager in resolving customer related issues, acting as a second point of contact for the customer into the Business Unit on a day-to-day basis. Ensuring Customer needs are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Supporting the Account Manager in the achievement of sales budget in terms of Revenue by analysing weekly performance and regular customer contact.
  • Ensuring the commercial administration is correct, right first time and completely on time both for customer and the business.
  • Forecasting on a Weekly/Monthly basis as appropriate for the business.
  • Report and Analyse sales performance of customer, ensuring this is communicated to Commercial Manager. Identify corrective actions where required.
  • Collaboration with support function including Factory planning, Technical, Supply Chain, NPD, and Procurement to ensure sales orders are achieved and new business is launched on time in full.
  • Prepare, audit and gain approval from the Account Manager for all costings and promotions prior to quoting the customer
  • Reviewing and reporting on consumer trends and marketing activity
